Before you start

Confirm with your clinician if you use glucose-lowering medications, antihypertensives, or have chronic kidney disease, pregnancy, or a history of disordered eating.

During fasting windows

  • Hydrate consistently.
  • Monitor symptoms such as dizziness or hypoglycemia signs.
  • Avoid unplanned extreme fasting durations.

Red flags to stop and seek review

  • Recurrent symptomatic lows
  • Persistent dizziness or near-fainting
  • Marked fatigue that impairs daily function
